﷽ It was narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, passed by two graves, and he said, “Undoubtedly, the people of these two graves are being punished, and they are not being punished for any major sin, but this urine from them.” He did not avoid it (that is, splashes of urine kept flying and falling on his body and clothes) and he used to eat another bite. Then the Prophet ﷺ called for a green branch and cut it into two parts, then buried one part on one grave and the other on the other grave and said that until they are dry, their punishment will be lessened.

ترجمہ
﷽ ﷺ
حضرت ابن عباس رضیﷲ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسولﷲ ﷺ دو قبروں کے پاس سے گزرے تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا بلاشبہ ان دونوں قبر والوں کو عذاب دیا جا رہا ہے اور انہیں کسی بڑے گناہ کے سبب عذاب نہیں دیا جارہا بلکہ ان میں سے یہ پیشاب سے نہیں بچتا تھا (یعنی پیشاب کے چھینٹے اڑ کر اسکے بدن اور کپڑوں پر پڑتے رہتے تھے ) اور یہ دوسرا چغلی کھاتا تھا۔ پھر آپ ﷺ نے سرسبز ٹہنی منگوائی اور اسکے دو حصے کیے پھر ایک حصہ ایک قبر پر گاڑ دیا اور دوسرا دوسری قبر پر اور فرمایا جب تک یہ خشک نہیں ہوں گی انکے عذاب میں تخفیف کی جائے گی
